I have been looking for a studded denim vest for several months now, without any luck. So as soon as I found this denim vest at Forever 21, I snatched it up and decided I would stud it myself :)
I used 7mm studs, which can be found here.
I used a flat screwdriver to bend the prongs flat. The studs went through the denim very easily, but this vest is a thin denim. I have another vest that is a thicker denim, and I will have to use come kind of fabric glue for those.
You don't just have to use silver squares. There are all shapes and sizes in different colors! I might add a flashy pin to give it some color too!
