Pretty in Pink

My birhtday is on Tuesday, which is my busiest day at school (natuarally) and I have a test everyday this week, including my birthday! How rude.  So I have decided not to plan anything for my actual birthday, and wait until the weekend to celebrate.  I will do a picture overload birthday post for you as 

soon as I do something and have some pictures.  

Random...I have been thinking about making a YouTube channel and doing hauls and stuff like that.  What do you think? 

Here is a little end of the week shopping post for you.

I have come to realize that I buy close to the same shade of pink almost every week...I have now a basket full of pink nail polishes, and these are just the ones I use the most.  

Its like buying 20 pairs of black shoes right?  You can never have enough :)

Having H&M close to me is already proving to be dangerous.  Since opening day was a circus, I decided to give it a few days and return this week.  I grabbed some things that I had my eye on last time and I am super excited to have my first item of clothing and the perfect bag for back to school from H&M...eek!

Horses!  What is it about the lining in bags that makes you love it that much more? 

 I had my eye on this beautiful kimono...kimono?? Correct me if I am wrong, but I am just guessing that's what it is called.

This and That

H&M is here!  My shopping prayers have been answered, H&M finally opened in Dallas yesterday, and I wasn't the only one excited about it.  The line to get in the store was about a 30-45 minute wait at first.  So I waited until the line got smaller and had my chance to shop.

There were so many people that it was hard to really shop and look for things.  So I picked up this scarf and called it a day.  Not to worry, I will be back after the storm calms.

33 And Counting

I love being a southern girl, but this summer heat is more than I can take!  It's 110 degrees, and that's just the actual temperature. It feels like 120!  It is our 33rd straight day of triple digit temperatures down here in Texas, and even the pool can't cool you off.  So basically the only thing to do is hide inside the house from the heat, with the ac cranked down. 
I did manage to get out a little yesterday, to do a little shopping.  Ironically enough, I bought a fall dress, which I tweeted yesterday, so I will post it here as well.  I think it will be great with flats and heels, I also love short dresses with long sleeves.  It is the only picture of an outfit that I have, because my everyday wardrobe these days consists of nothing cute, only shorts and tank tops.  When the weather cools off and I can wear cute clothes again, I will start doing OOTD's.  As for now, this is the best I can do.  Stay cool!

Recent Finds

You know when you find those great buys that you just feel so good about?  Well that's what I found in these shoes.  I had bought some similar to these a few months back, only to discover that one of the straps on the shoe was cut short, and wouldn't fit in the buckle...annoying. So I tried to find them again with no luck.  Then just yesterday, I stopped by the wonderful DSW (just wasting time) when I came across these beauties.  They look just like the ones I had to return, and both of the straps buckle, yay!  It was one of those things I wasn't looking for, but totally made my day.

I also found this clutch a few weeks ago and wanted to share with you.  I bought it at Sam Moon.  Now if you don't know what that is, here is a little description.  You know those stores where it is stufed with product from wall to wall, with too many people, and everything is really cheap, and most of it is knock-offs?...well that is what Sam Moon is.  I don't ever go there, but maybe once a year.  I was looking for a gift and what do you know...I found something for myself!  I came across this clutch that reminded me of a style that Alexander Wang would have.  And since it was under $20, I had to snatch it up!

Baby You're A Firework

I love the 4th of July, it is one of my favorite holidays.  It's full of hot dogs, baseball games and fireworks!  This year I forgot to take my camera everywhere with me, which was stupid as a blogger, but I did manage to get a couple of pictures with good ole' Instgram!  I got to spend all weekend with my family and friends and enjoying the hotness of summer here.  Last night we went to the lake and watched fireworks explode in the night sky!  I hope your weekend was as good as mine no matter where you were.
